Privacy and cookies

In short: the details you leave me are used only to reply to you and to send you what you asked for. I never sell them or pass them on, and you can ask me to delete them whenever you like.

Who handles your data

The data controller is Daniela Minuzzo, Independent doTERRA Wellness Advocate. For any question about your data you can write to me at dany.minuzzo@gmail.com or call me on +39 331 235 5556.

What I collect and why

• “Would you rather I called you?” form: your name, phone number and the time of day you prefer. I use them only to call you back, as you asked.
• Free guide form: first name, last name, email and phone. I use them to email you the guide and to get back to you with advice on essential oils.
• If you message me on WhatsApp, email me or call me: whatever details you choose to share, so that I can reply.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, “GDPR”), which you give with the tick box on the form and can withdraw at any time, and the need to respond to your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).

How long I keep them

Until you ask me to delete them, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last contact.

Who else can see them

I never sell or pass on your data. To run the website I rely on two providers, who process it only on my behalf:

• Netlify, Inc. (United States), which hosts the website and receives the forms. The transfer to the United States relies on the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
• Brevo SAS (France, European Union), the service that sends the emails: the guide to you and the notice of your request to me.

If you message me on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) privacy policy also applies. If you buy from the doTERRA online shop through the link on this site, doTERRA handles your order details under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

At any time you can ask me to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to its processing or receive a copy of it, and you can withdraw your consent: just write to the address above. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for profiling or analytics, and shows no advertising. Fonts and images are hosted on the site itself. The recipe book remembers, only on your device, the oils you have marked as yours: it is a technical convenience, it is not sent to anyone and you can delete it by clearing your browser data. Like any website, the hosting provider records data such as visitors’ IP addresses for technical and security reasons.
